Bonus wagering requirements
For example, if you receive a welcome bonus of 100 percent to €500 and deposit 500 euros, then you must wager this 500 Euro bonus amount 25x with favorable bonus conditions, i.e. 25×500€ = 12500 euros. This minimum turnover is certainly not so easy to meet. But if the wagering requirements are 30x bonus + deposit, then only one small thing has changed, but you have to wager 30x (500€ + 500€) = 30000 euros instead. This amount needs to be played first. And then there are often games that only partially count for the turnover of the bonus amount or are completely excluded from the bonus.
A look at the bonus terms and conditions of an online casino is therefore very important if you really want to play through the deposit bonus and have it withdrawn at some point. We will do this for you. And make all unfavorable clauses transparent and explain them thoroughly.
Casino License
If you deposit real money at an online casino, you should first check: Does a casino even have a valid license? And if so, which regulator is it issued by?
There are still casinos that rely on the validity of EU licenses. As a rule, this license is issued by MGA, i.e. by the Malta Gaming Authority, the Gambling Authority of Malta. Casinos like 888 or Whamoo all have (at least so far) a Maltese license from the MGA.
A British license from the UK Gambling Commission has also been a good sign so far – even if it no longer has any significance for Central Europe with Brexit at the latest. Not necessarily less serious, but at least less strictly regulated and controlled, are providers who have a license from Gibraltar or Curacao.
Deposits and withdrawals
Deposit methods and withdrawal methods may not seem exciting at first glance. But at the latest, if you want to withdraw profits quickly, the whole thing becomes relevant. Fast withdrawals also depend on the chosen payment method. And since the deposit method usually also has to be used for withdrawals, you should consider how you want to withdraw your money later before using a credit card, Paysafecard, Giropay, or Skrill.
Fast payouts
If a casino guarantees fast payouts, then this is of course a clear plus in the test. However, one must not forget: The processing time is one thing and can be influenced directly by the provider. For example, if a casino treats itself to 48 hours of processing time, then this is far too long and leads to point deduction in the test. But what the provider cannot influence is the time it takes the payment provider to send the money to your account. Here, the payment methods differ significantly.
Payment methods
The following deposit methods can often be found in online casinos.
Credit card: Paying with Mastercard or Visa is still widespread in casinos. And in principle, you can’t do much wrong here, because the credit card companies are established and absolutely serious. Credit cards are ideal as a deposit method because the credit is immediately available in the player’s account. But there is one disadvantage: Mastercard does not accept withdrawals for you. If you choose Mastercard as your deposit method, you will therefore look into the tube when paying out. A bank transfer is usually the only option you have left. And that can take time.
Paysafecard: In principle, the same applies to Paysafecard as to Mastercard. You can deposit with it in the online casino, but the Paysafecard is not suitable for withdrawals.
Skrill and Neteller: The web wallets Skrill and Neteller were once competitors, but both belong to the Paysafe Group now. The online wallets are equally well suited for transactions to and from the casino. But you have to be careful if you want to accept a bonus. Some casinos exclude a new customer bonus if the player has deposited with Skrill or Neteller, for example.
Bitcoin: As of recently there is a new kind of online casino – Bitcoin Casinos. These casinos accept cryptos as payment methods either exclusively or in combination with other payment methods.
Customer support
Last but not least is the online casino customer support. Is it available around the clock or it has working hours? This can be tricky if you are in a different time zone than the support team. How can customer support be contacted? Most online casinos have extensive FAQ sections in which they cover the most important questions players might have. But other than that the reputable online casino must have email and chat support available 24 hours 7 days a week. Telephone support in English is also preferable but this is a bonus.
